The Company has not yet made a decision of the terminal construction. But the Head of the Russian representative noted that the Akfen Holding is interested in the port assets in the Black and Baltic Seas. Now the investors are holding negotiations with his partner, PSA International (Port of Singapore Authority). But they are at an early stage. The News Agency emphasizes that Cuneyt Baltaoglu declined to publish specific projects.
The Turkish Akfen Holding manages the port assets through its subsidiary, Mersin International Port (MIP). It provides cargo handling area and Anatolia, the Black Sea and the Middle East. Currently, MIP is a largest port in terms of imports and exports of Turkey.
